President of Global Hospitality Accounting Solutions Inc. has over twenty five years’ experience in accounting, out of which the last twenty one have been in the hospitality industry. He started his career with the Costa Mesa Marriott Suites and stayed with Marriott International for eight years ending up as a controller both at the Renaissance LAX airport and the Renaissance Beverly Hills. He then elected to work as corporate controller with Pacific Hotel Associates and managed the accounting of five properties in California, Arizona and New Mexico. In 2000, he joined Leirum LLC as the corporate controller and managed the accounting of two upper scale restaurants and the construction of a theatre for the company. In 2002, Ravi started consulting in the financial realm of the hospitality industry. He has worked with a number of companies to transition and set-up the accounting departments, standardize accounting systems across multiple properties, train property controllers and accounting staff and conduct audits for ownership entities. He has both a bachelors and a master degree in Economics, is a certified Novell Systems Administrator and holds a controllers certification from University of California Berkley, as well as Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He is proficient in applying GAAP principals to auditing engagements and management reports.
